Project report: Meet-and-Greet – Mechatronics & Smart Technologies (MA) JG 20
After a very time-consuming and intensive 2nd semester in the field of mechatronics, in which the corona pandemic did not make things any easier for us, it was time for our degree program to hold a decent graduation dinner. After the government reopened on 01.07.21, a date was quickly found for the beginning of July when the majority of the students were still in Innsbruck and could also make time for the event. A suitable date was found and was set for 06.07.2021 at 17:15. Twelve of our 15 students have registered for this. The next step was to choose the restaurant, which was not so easy at such short notice. But in the end we got a table outside at Glorious Bastards Innsbruck.
On the so-called final dinner day, we met at Glorious Bastards, but unfortunately some of us could not make it until much later than the agreed time due to long work and traveling to Austria. So we decided that we could eat in two groups so that those present would not starve. Unfortunately, only 10 of the 12 registered students were present as two went on vacation at short notice.
Unfortunately, we were only able to take pictures at the beginning of the event and not everyone present is pictured. However, these pictures show quite clearly how good it was for us all to meet in person and get to know each other. In addition, our long-time office ladies, Janine and Maria, have joined us.
The evening at Glorious Bastards was over around 24:00 when Spain lost to Italy on penalties. The majority of the group then moved on to Bar 6020, which is the main location at MCI. The evening slowly came to an end there.
