Meet and Greet

After a very time-consuming and intensive 2nd semester in the field of mechatronics, in which the corona pandemic has not brought us any relief, it was time for our study program to have a decent final dinner. After the opening steps of the government on 01.07.21 a date for the begin-ning of July was searched in shortest time, when the majority of the students were still in Inns-bruck and could also spend time for the event. A suitable date was found and was fixed to the 06.07.2021 at 17:15. At this 12 of our 15 students signed up. The next step was to choose a res-taurant, which was not so easy at such short notice. Finally we got a table at the Glorious Bastards Innsbruck.
On the so-called final dinner day we met at the Glorious Bastards, but unfortunately for some it was not possible to arrive at the appointed time, due to longer work and travel to Austria. So we decided that we could eat in two groups so that those present did not starve. Unfortunately, only 10 of the 12 signed students were present because two went on vacation at short notice.
Unfortunately we could only take pictures at the beginning of the event and not all present are shown. However, these pictures show quite clearly how good it was for all of us to meet in person and to get to know each other. Additionally our long known office ladies, Janine and Maria joined us.
The evening at the Glorious Bastards was over around 24:00 when Spain lost to Italy in a penalty shootout. Afterwards, most of the group moved to the Bar 6020, which is at the MCI main loca-tion. There the evening slowly came to an end.
